MEXT Scholarship Eligibility:

1. Research Students

Academic Qualifications (must meet one of these):

  1. Hold a bachelor’s degree or
  2. Be a prospective graduate (completing degree before scholarship start) or
  3. Have completed 16 years of formal education (including elementary through university)
